Retired Jersey Numbers

# 8 - Pat Landry - THS class of 1971 - Pat Landry was a 2 time football letter winner for Titusville High School, playing fullback, tight end, and linebacker for the Terriers under Head Coach Jack O'Brien from 1968-1970. The Terriers were undefeated (6-0) and playing at Eau Gallie High School (also 6-0) for a district title late in October 1970 when Pat suffered a serious spinal injury while making a tackle. Pat died on October 17th 2004. For two-thirds of his life on earth, he was challenged on a daily basis to deal with what any one of us would consider to be the most mundane or even menial tasks associated with our walk through life. Pat never complained, never gave up his fight to live a "normal" life, never gave in to the "what-if's". Instead, he continually pushed the envelope of every situation that faced him, constantly overcoming the adversities that would face him each step of the way. Through it all, Pat had an inspirational positivism on the lives that he touched, and there were many, from all walks of life, near and far, young and old. (thanks Coach Mays)
